Culture As A Business Process

Company culture is a business process like all others we already know and need to run organizations.

Just like any other organizational process it needs to be activated, to follow a procedure, measure it, monitor it, and improve it continuously.

Culture is an intangible concept with a significant and very tangible impact on each organizational layer and most importantly on its performance.

Considering culture as an intangible concept – therefore secondary importance – just because people don’t know how to quantify it or monetize it is a dangerous idea.

Cultural impact can indeed be measured, be it negative or positive.

Before thinking about measuring, how do we activate this process at an organizational level?

We activate it by leveraging the power of the two foundational building blocks of the Purpose-Driven Academy:

  • The three steps process illustrated in “CODIFY INDIVIDUAL PURPOSE” 1) Codify Individual Purpose, 2) Identify Company Purpose, 3) Enable Company Purpose

  • The Purpose-Driven Business Canvas

Culture as a business process is the framework designed to empower cross-functional collaboration, teamwork, and communication through several visual thinking tools and is the blueprint of all cultural transformation projects at the Purpose-Driven Academy.
